As we all knows that spring is starting and summer is going to ring us soon too. Although I love spring as others do but the main problem we all faces during these seasons is losing 1 hour of sleep. Everyone is sensitive about his/her sleep so a lot of worries wandering around us of losing 1 hour of sleep and a lot of thoughts that how to overcome these problems.
Human`s sleep cycle or wake cycle is specifically created to schedule their feelings of wakefulness and sleepiness over a 24 hours of time period. This cycle is also known as circadian rhythm which is natural. Allah Almighty has created our system in such a way that this cycle is managed by brain`s that area which depends on light. So this is the reason that human beings are most active when sun is shinning and go to sleep when its dark outside. And spring forwards 1 hour and people face to lose their 1 hour of sleep.
WHAT RESEARCERS SAYS:
There are so many researches done about losing 1 hour of sleep and day light saving times. According to researchers some people don’t bother losing their 1 hour of sleep while some of them suffers badly form this problem.
KEN DAVIS says that he is enthusiastic for spring so that the clock forward. He also used to say that he would love to see the standard time all year around.
While Sleep Specialist of CHI Memorial Dr.ANUJ CHANDRA says that change can also be a risk , not only be a pain. He also advised people to be ready for the time and go to the bed early to come up with these problems as this is an old and well known saying that:
“early to bed, early to rise. Makes a man healthy, perfect & wise.”
CAUSES & EFFECTS OF LOSING SLEEP:
So, there are a lot of studies which illustrates that losing sleep of 1 hour causes high rates of many diseases. While some of them are given below:
- Heart attack
- Blood pressure
Because these disease are linked with sleep seizure. And one of the most important thing that vehicles accidents also increases because of this. Because obviously when you are not taking your proper sleep it means you are not fresh, and when you are not fresh its obvious that you cannot focus on your work as well as in driving because drivers should be attentive.
HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS LOSS OF SLEEP:
Whenever the problem arises, solutions for them arises too. So just like many other problems there are many ways to solve this problem too. Some of the solutions to deal with this loss are given below:
Be Ready For The Change Of Time:
For time change prepare yourself, try to go to bed early and manage your time for your sleep. So then you`ll be able to wake up early and look fresh. Then you can pay your attention to your every work.
Focus On Your Diet:
Take diet which helps you to fall asleep e.g.;
- Bananas: helps you to make your muscles relaxants as it contains 3 nutrient.
- Yogurt: This directly effects our sleep cycle as it carries calcium, protein etc.
- Walnuts: helps you fall asleep faster.
- Crackers: Spreading peanut butter on crackers helps you too.
- Cereals: Plays an important role to solve this problem
There are a lot of other ways to tackle this kind of situation.So concluding this I say that spring is saying hello and loss of sleep is going to welcome us too. So be ready for it , prepare yourself and be aware how to deal.
