A fatal collision between two skiers was reported on Friday 3 pm at the Middle Ravine Trail at Cannon Mountain ski resort in Franconia.
The 39-year old Jeremy Keiran who belonged Somerville, Mass was discovered inert by specialists on call. In spite of all the efforts to rescue him, he was articulated dead at the scene.
The 48-year old Robert Slocum who belonged to Newburyport, Mass endured genuine yet non-perilous wounds in the mishap and was taken to a near hospital for therapy.
The advanced investigation disclosed that Keiran lost control, collided with a ski lift, and was tossed from his skis, sliding through a limited region toward the completion of the trail and off a bank when he was skiing down the Cannon mountain on the Black Diamond Profile Trail. Keiran than struck Slocum, who was skiing underneath on the Middle Ravine Trail.

DeVivo said the skier who lost his life was not wearing a protective cap.

The mishap occurred on the Middle Ravine trail beneath the Cannonball quad lift that is stamped blue as a moderate or “increasingly troublesome” trail, as opposed to the dark jewel “most troublesome” master trails and green-coded “less demanding” fledgling trails.
WMUR reports that no youngsters were associated with the mishap. The perished skier’s name and age were not quickly discharged.
