There comes a time in every blockchain-based platform’s life where its mother needs to nudge it gently off of its nest to see if it is ready to fly – and then see what the real-life results are. In the crypto world, it’s called Beta testing. It’s the time period where people are selected to try an almost-ready test version of the platform, and then the development team can take their feedback to enhance the product before the mainnet is launched. FunFair (FUN), the blockchain-based online gambling project, is about to kick off its beta period – and it’s looking for people to sign up for it.
It’s a closed beta test, so that means there is only a select group that is able to participate – and that select group must be residents of Canada. They just say that “starting with the Canadian market suits our needs.”
The deadline to sign up is Thursday. They are only looking for “at least 100 individual testers” – and they will decide at random who will be on that list, based on who applies to be a tester. The period, they say, will last between four and six weeks.
If this is something you are interested in, and you also live in Canada, then you can check out the platform and send in an application here.
