Lisk (LSK): This Crypto Coin is Going to Take Off in February

Lisk (LSK) has been an underdog in the crypto market. It is frequently overshadowed by coins that boast more powerful market values, like Cardano (ADA), Stellar (XLM) and EOS (EOS). In the dApp-enabling blockchain platform space right now, it’s pretty crowded. But the Lisk coin has a lot of potential to steal the show in the next month – and there are a few reasons for that.

This cryptocurrency is one of the best price performers today, and is also experiencing one of the highest trade volumes on the market. At the time of writing, it is trading up 18% compared to its price 24 hours ago.

Why is the Lisk coin gaining?

Out of all of the top 15 most valuable cryptocurrencies, Lisk (LSK) – which is in 15th place, by the way – is the only coin that is currently in the green today. All the other highest-valued digital currencies, especially NEM (XEM) are trading down.

Today’s boost probably has something to do with the fact that LSK just got added to a new cryptocurrency exchange, which frequently serves as a catalyst for coin price surges. As of today, this coin is now available to trade on Tokyo-based BitFlyer:

This is a pretty big deal as BitFlyer is one of the most popular crypto exchanges worldwide, when going by volume. It’s known as the Coinbase of Japan to a lot of cryptocurrency investors.

Needless to say, the Lisk Reddit community freaked out when they heard that their coin was hitting BitFlyer – they know what this means for its price path.

Lisk (LSK) is rebranding in 3 weeks

Lisk has let it be known for a while now that it is going to give its image a face-lift. On February 20th, the company will be completely rebranding itself at a big event in Berlin:

Not only will they announce a new name and image, they will also announce “additional front-end releases.” We expect whatever news that day will boost this coin’s price even further.

On top of that, the Lisk coin was one of the options added onto the Robinhood app’s supported watchlist. It won’t be tradable on the free platform yet, but being on the watchlist is a good first step.
