Nano (NANO): This Cryptocurrency is Going Mainstream, Starting with Twitch

Ever since RaiBlocks (XRB) rebranded itself to Nano (NANO) about three weeks ago, it hasn’t had a great go of it on the cryptocurrency exchanges.

Actually, since the XRB coin became the NANO coin on January 31, this digital currency has lost nearly half its value. Luckily for the fans of this crypto coin, things are looking up at the moment – and it has bounced back above the $10.00 mark. At $10.56, the former RaiBlocks coin is up 19% from its price 24 hours ago. That’s a price it hasn’t seen in about two weeks. On top of that, this coin’s volume is reaching all-time-highs today – currently at $136 million (with 81% of activity happening on Binance).

Why the boost? Well, yesterday a huge bomb was dropped.

Twitch users can now execute NANO coin donations

Some of us over the age of 25 have no idea what Twitch is – but I can’t blame you, as I only recently first heard of this social media platform. Twitch is a video streaming network where users livestream video games. Since it was launched in 2011, it has branched off into much more than video games, and – more importantly – now boasts over 2 million active broadcasters.

As of today, users on the Twitch platform can simply click to send NANO coins to their favorite video streamers. That’s a huge deal – and that’s why so many investors are clamoring to get this coin in their hands.

Actually, the fact that it is added as a donation coin for Twitch means that ReddCoin (RDD) might get left in the dust – especially since a more popular coin is already live on Twitch while no major social media platform has incorporated ReddCoin yet.

Nano is making other small steps toward mass adoptability

This coin is one of the handful of top cryptocurrency investments that has the potential to be a household coin, as well as the “next Ethereum.” Its Android wallet test version just went live on Wednesday, for instance.

This blockchain platforms NANO wallet enables instant transactions at zero fees – so when this wallet app is live on all platforms it will be really easy for people to participate.

It has already been proven to be instant – so it’s only a matter of time until people start using this app just to send money to friends and family.

When the next big step happens with the NANO coin, this currency’s price is most likely going to soar again – and its left up to a lot of other top altcoins to play catch up.
