Remember UTRUST (UTK)? It’s a little-known coin that doesn’t get talked about much on Reddit and other crypto message boards, but this digital currency has a lot of potential as online payments processor. We’ve talked about this upcoming system before, and we dubbed it the “Next PayPal” because it is taking blockchain technology in a very useful direction.
And tomorrow, April 19th, will be a big day for this PayPal threat, as the whole team is unveiling what this platform is going to look like.
First, what is UTRUST (UTK) again?
You know how on a lot of e-commerce sites, even Uber and Airbnb, you can simply pay using your PayPal login and password – and the money gets pulled straight from your preferred payment method? That’s what UTRUST (UTK) is, except for in the blockchain era.
Similar to PayPal, this will be a payment gateway that will allow users to securely pay instantly with multiple cryptocurrencies. It will support crypto-to-fiat conversions and have much lower fees than PayPal, on top of buyer protection and performance-based escrow.
It is supposed to be something that online retailers can easily add onto their sites for customers to use – but we won’t get to use it until later this year.
At least tomorrow we will know what it looks like.
Tomorrow, UTRUST (UTK) will be revealed
The full-blown product may not be getting launched quite yet, but tomorrow the whole team is getting ready to show exactly what the final product will look like.
We are beyond excited! The entire team will be present, and we would love to see you there as well. Don’t worry if you can’t make it, there will be a live stream and we will be sharing a video of the complete presentation after the conference.https://t.co/7WxrUxKEup pic.twitter.com/PgyKhTQYf5

Sure, Coinbase is already working on something similar, and it is likely that PayPal will eventually add cryptocurrency as a payment option, but this platform still has a lot of potential.
We are keeping our eyes on this coin, and we will be looking to see when this full-fledged payment gateway will actually be functional – because it can certainly pose a threat to PayPal.
